DAY 2 - Burlap Ornaments

Hello Followers! :) Here's Day 2 of our Christmas projects...Who couldn't resist these two sitting on their Christmas tree? This project went very quickly to put together. They measure 2 1/4 by 2 3/4. Here's a list of the supplies I used to create these two....

SUPPLIES:
Burlap
Ric Rac
Sewing Needle
Chalk
Stuffing
Strips of fabric
Flat Back Beads
Embroidery Floss
Glue Gun
Button (Optional)
Small Bell (Optional)

Start by cutting your burlap into a circle shape and cut two. Glue your two pieces together with the hot glue gun...making sure to leave an opening. Stuff your two pieces with stuffing to your liking, when done glue opening shut.  I used white ric rac and glued in place for the gingerbread's outline. Take the two flat back beads ( I found these in the doll section at JoAnn's) and glue in place. By using a strip of fabric, I made a bow and hand sewed a small bell for the gingerbread boy's bowtie. For the girl, I used a button. So that these two lil cuties could hang on my tree, I finished them off by taking a piece of embroidery floss, with the sewing needle, I made a loop and tied a small knot. I had so much fun making these, and hope that you will give this a try.  Merry Christmas Everyone! :)
