Feliz Ano Nuevo!
Holla!
So I finally got done with my new year project! It's been a busy Holiday and I just now finished the mini! LOL! Aye, I'm such a procrastinator! For my project I decided to go with one of a Mexican New Years tradition...12 grapes 12 wishes. What you are supposed to do eat 12 grapes and for each grape you make a wish. It was a VERY fun project to work on and a very simple one that anyone can do; it doesn't have to be a grape shape but convert it into a traditional book. I had a bigger plan but I'll be reserving that one for next year! O.K...so here is the mini. Oh, and excuse the empty journaling spots...kinda want to keep those wishes to myself. jeejeejee...I hope everyone had an amazing Ano Nuevo/New Years!
What did I use?
DCWV: Mi Casa paper stack (My leftoever from Linda's mini)
Tim Holtz D-ring (from a RAK)
Chipboard numbers (BigLots a long time ago)
Embroidery floss (my mom's stash)
Home-made flowers and ribbon (from my own stash)
Florish and stamped journal spots (from the Expo last year)
Stampendous:PEARLuster Jade embossing powder (Michaels)
Recycled chipboard for my grape shaped mini (My husband saved that chipboard from being thrown in the dumpter!)
Well, if you guys have any questions please ask away! Me no mind at all! LOL!

Smashin Thru the New Year! :D
Hello Bloggers! Now that Christmas is over, we are so looking forward to the New Year. So what a better way to get started by creating something that we can use the whole year thru. I created a Smash Journal using some Cute, Cute, Cute paper by Simple Stories "Year.O.Graphy" Collection. These papers were easy for this project because it came with the day's and months. The embellishment's that were used are things like: maya road envelopes, sheer tags, and paper bag. The binding that I used was jute cording, and I like how that it came out because it gives a more natural feel to this project. On the cover I used a Maya Road organza bloom, lace and, fabric chipboard numbers. And the in between pages are cream colored cardstock that I hand stamped with saying's to coordinate with the theme. Here's some pics to go thru.
We wish you a Safe and Happy New Year! Gracias for taking the time to stop by!
Hasta Pronto!

Aye, so sorry I didn't post sooner. I went out and partied hard last night...=) No, I went to the Crystal Palace and line-danced and did the tush push. Yes, I know shocking! I even danced for my arroz! LOL!
K, so here is my last project for the 12 days of Christmas. An altered tin that I got on clearance last year. The tin has this little pingueen and I had the perfect paper for it! It's the perfect size for wallet sized pictures, although I don't know if I'm even going to put pics in there because it's too cute! LOL! Aye, I'm tooting my own horn! Jajajaja! K, here are the pictures.
What did I use?
clearence tin
chipboard

Recollections-Bright and Jolly paper
